Pauli was born in Hoffman Estates, IL. However, he grew up in Glendale Heights, IL. He graduated from Glenbard West in 2005. He has always been an artistic individual since he was a kid. He didn't get serious about it until after high school when he started drawing tattoos for friends and family. It was then he realized that he wanted to start tattooing others himself.

When Pauli was 18, he started tattooing out of his house as a hobby. Finally, he realized that he should start getting more serious about it when he was 20 when he started getting more clientele. He moved to Oswego to pursue a serious career. He started his apprenticeship at Don's Downtown Ink, and recently started working at Skin of a Different Color.

"I don't know why it is I do what I do... I've always loved art and it just seemed right. I am in my natural realm when I am tattooing."
